Just in time for the start of the 2024/2025 winter season, we are presenting two impressive projects in Bavaria (Germany) and Styria (Austria): The new ropeway systems on the Ochsenkopf in the Fichtelgebirge and on the Hauser Kaibling in the Schladming-Dachstein ski region combine state-of-the-art technology, maximum comfort and sustainability.
GD10 “Ochsenkopf Süd” – Future technology in the Fichtelgebirge
- Modernization completed: After the construction of the 10-seater “Ochsenkopf Nord” gondola lift in 2023, the access from the south side of the mountain has now followed
- Efficient & environmentally friendly:
- LEITNER DirectDrive for low-maintenance and resource-saving operation
- PV panels with 200 kWp make the system energy-self-sufficient in sunlight
- Technical highlights:
- Speed: 6 m/s
- 21 cabins transport up to 1,200 people per hour
- Adaptations for summer use with innovative LEITNER bike racks
- Comfort for all: Special solutions for monoskiers and optimized stations with social rooms and garage facilities.
CD8C Kaiblinggrat – generational change in Styria
- Higher capacity: With up to 3,600 people per hour, the new chairlift currently has the highest performance in Styria
- New standard:
- LEITNER Premium Chair EVO with a bubble and individual footrests
- Conveyor belt with lifting table for safe entry, especially for children
- Technology of the future:
- Test facility for “LeitPilot”, autonomous station operation
- Conversion into gondola lift for summer operation possible
