LEITNER has been heavily involved in expanding urban ropeway mobility in Mexico ever since 2016. The success story began with the "Mexicable 1 - Línea Roja" in the municipality of Ecatepec de Morelos and continued with other projects such as the "Cablebús 2" and the "Mexicable 2 - Línea Verde". These facilities have already transported millions of passengers and revolutionised urban mobility.
With the current projects in Morelia and Naucalpan, LEITNER is building on this success story and contributing to the sustainable development of urban mobility.
"The two new projects in Mexico are another milestone for LEITNER and the expansion of urban ropeway mobility. With the new facilities, we can offer the people of Morelia and Naucalpan a modern and environmentally friendly mobility solution that will make daily life easier and strengthen the regions in the long term. It is an investment in the future of both cities," says Giacomo Trattenero, the LEITNER Sales Agent responsible.
