CD6 Tråstølen

Voss Resort is the largest skiing area in western Norway and offers descents for every ability. A highlight of the Norwegian fjord landscape, Voss is idyllically situated between the Hardanger and Sogne fjords and boasts views over the mountains and forested valleys, rivers, and waterfalls, and even – when visibility is good – a view out to the Norwegian coast. At this picturesque resort, LEITNER constructed the new CD6 Trastølheis 6-seater chairlift to replace a fixed-grip ropeway built back in 1968. Powered by a LEITNER DirectDrive, the new system delivers a significantly improved capacity of up to 2400 passengers per hour. The new ropeway also reduces the journey time along the existing route to just over three minutes.
