The new CD6C high-speed chairlift in Oberstdorf was the first system in Germany to be fitted with the Premium Chair.  “The new, cutting-edge system fits our ski resort perfectly. Since energy efficiency is also highly important to our company, we have chosen the environmentally friendly and energy-saving DirectDrive system,” says Augustin Kröll, CEO of  Fellhornbahn GmbH. The new ropeway is replacing the old and very steep surface lift called the IV Fellhornlift, enabling greater capacity of up to 2,400 passengers per hour and reducing waiting times for visitors. Thanks to the gearless LEITNER DirectDrive system, the ropeway is also particularly efficient and environmentally friendly.
