The client, Brauneck- und Wallbergbahnen GmbH, places great emphasis on child-friendly operation: the lift has an automatically locking safety bar on each seat, a conveyor belt to help riders get on as well as an automatic elevating platform that recognizes whether a child or adult is waiting to get on and adjusts the elevating platform accordingly. Special sensors for the Cable Position Supervision Systems (CPS) immediately detect if the cable is not in the correct position. In addition to comfort and safety, the new chairlift stands out in particular thanks to its increased efficiency and high level of environmental sustainability.
