GD10 Galtbergbahn

At the Schlick 2000 ski center near Innsbruck, the new GD10 “Galtbergbahn” replaces an old surface lift that has been running for over sixty years. The new ropeway serves the route from Fronebenalm to above Galtalm, and boasts an impressive all-round view, thanks to its Diamond EVO cabins with large panoramic windows. This modern gondola lift, which travels a distance of 1,435 meters at a speed of 6 m/s, features LEITNER DirectDrive, making an important contribution to better sustainability, less maintenance work and significant noise reduction. And, as a perfect addition to that, a LeitDrive frequency inverter (also developed by LEITNER) has been installed.
