GD10 Poljice

LEITNER’s expertise was on display once again at Jahorina near Sarajevo, site of the 1984 Winter Olympics. At the heart of renewals is the “Poljice” 10-passenger gondola lift, which plays an important distributing role due to its central location in the resort. It replaced a smaller installation when it began operation in December 2021, thereby improving speed and  capacity, and it represents the very best and latest technology with proven components. There is a new Pininfarina-designed station building, whose covering is carried over to the adjacent building and a café above. The underground garaging system and some of the components of the old 6-seater chairlift remain, however.
