GD10 Savognin - Tigignas

In Savognin in the Swiss canton of Grisons, the new 10-passenger gondola lift ensures the perfect ascent to the ski and hiking region and therefore adds quality to the entire holiday region of Surses. The new gondola lift replaces a 4-seater chairlift from 1987 and now offers significantly more ride comfort (even in bad weather), enabling the transport of sporting equipment and creating a higher passenger capacity. The drive station is positioned in close proximity to a mountain restaurant. Thanks to the use of LEITNER DirectDrive, the drive system produces much less noise and so doesn’t disturb the restaurant. LEITNER ropeways built the first 10-passenger gondola lift in Switzerland in 2012 here in Savognin.
