GD8 Isskogel

At the beginning of the winter season 2004/2005, the 8-passenger gondola lift Isskogel started operation in the ski area of Gerlos. Since then, it has taken skiers just 6 minutes to reach the Isskogel, where they can ski on the 160 kilometers of piste of the Zillertal Arena. The ski area of Gerlos, together with the ski areas Zell am Ziller, Königsleiten and Gerlosplatte, form the Zillertal Arena. The connection to the Isskogel facilitated the creation of the Zillertal Arena by offering winter sports enthusiasts quick and comfortable access to the entire ski region.
