GFR 2-2-8 Eyüp - Piyerloti

The Eyüp – Piyerloti installation in the center of Istanbul was inaugurated in autumn 2005. It provides easier access to the café “Pierre Loti” – a favorite destination for locals and tourists alike. Special attention should be given to the line of this ropeway, as it passes over a very busy street and a historically important cemetery from the Ottoman period. Evidence that ropeways are very suitable for connecting or crossing sensitive areas.
