The bike transport extension kit is available for chairs without bubbles and can be mounted quickly and easily. The bike rack is attached to the frame of the chair. This means that the chair is perfectly balanced without any cross-swing. The CE-certified aluminum structure enables up to 4 bikes to be transported per vehicle. The chair can be loaded up very quickly and easily, so passengers can carry out this step themselves. The same is true for unloading bikes on arrival at the top station. The chairs and bikes are very well protected against dirt during mountain transport, as there is no direct contact between the two objects. This innovative extension kit enables bikes of all types and sizes to be transported.

Retrofit options:
The extension kit can only be installed on chairs without bubble.
Chair with bubble:
For chairs with weather protection bubbles, a separate transport vehicle with bike pick-up is used.
Stop&Go technology:
Due to the Stop&Go operation of the transport vehicle at the mountain station, unloading the bike is easy and comfortable for the guest.
GETTING ACQUAINTED WITH THE BIKE BOX
The Bike Box, developed by LEITNER as a test station allows bikers to “get to know” how the new transport technology works. The box can be set up near the ropeway boarding area, offering the opportunity to practice handling before boarding. In addition to the boarding procedure, bikers will also find information on the requirements for the bike to ensure safe transport. To make the boarding procedure even easier to understand, the box also features pictograms. Alternatively, a screen can be integrated into the box to display the appropriate explanatory video for the procedure.
