For decades, fixed-grip chairlifts from LEITNER have enjoyed an enviable reputation for their robust engineering, reliability and safety. A policy of on-going development and enhancement has ensured that this reputation continues to be fully justified. As a global supplier, LEITNER observes the strict European standards for safety and reliability. The technology is mature and the systems have been proven time and time again. The ever-increasing number of LEITNER fixed-grip chairlifts in the mountains results in mature systems, the best possible materials and outstanding workmanship to ensure above-average service life – plus continual economic improvements. Apart from all that, LEITNER fixed-grip chairlifts – like their detachable counterparts – are also winners for their sheer good looks.
The choice is between a traditional fixed drive station with a completely enclosed load-bearing machine room and the new compact Unifix station in a mushroom configuration. The latter is available as either a fixed station or a combined drive and tension station. The attraction of the mushroom drive with the compact drive assembly is the location of the motor and gearbox on the same axis for a minimum footprint and noise emissions.
The return stations can be installed with a fixed or hydraulically controlled tension.
Each pylon of a LEITNER line is engineered, designed and manufactured according to the specific topographical and mechanical requirements of the project. The combination of the different tube diameters and wall thicknesses as well as the separation of the pylon into individual sections can be modified as requested. As the pylon height is manufactured to centimeter accuracy, customers are provided with the highest level of flexibility. At the same time, the best line profile with regard to the topographical conditions can always be achieved without having to adapt the excess length of the foundation. The use of standard tubes ensures rapid manufacturing and replacement.
High flange extension beyond the roller lining and maximum groove depth guarantee the highest level of deropement protection. Thanks to the high roller pressure of the LEITNER roller batteries, the number of rollers can be reduced, which consequently saves maintenance and spare parts costs. The rubber mixture of the LEITNER rollers results in minimal flexing and therefore in a considerable reduction of the required drive power of the installation.
All the forged components are drop-forged. The spring disc assembly is extremely low-maintenance. The grip itself does not have to be opened to move the grips, and little effort is required. The long, plastic approach ramps are well-proven, and provide a pleasant ride quality.
