GD10 Doss del Sabion

At Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta, one of the biggest ski resorts in Trentino, the “Doss del Sabion” 10-passenger gondola lift has replaced an old chairlift from the 1980s. Running near to the original chairlift’s route, the new ropeway, which is fitted with LEITNER DirectDrive and 53 Diamond EVO Premium cabins with panoramic doors and a glassfloored VIP cabin, carries up to 2,800 passengers per hour up to the Doss del Sabion mountain refuge. When they arrive, passengers can enjoy a new 360 degree viewing platform offering breathtaking views across the entire Rendena Valley, as well as a view towards the glaciers of the Adamello Group and, opposite that, the cliffs and peaks of the Brenta Dolomites, which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ropeway’s special features include two underground stations, of which the only thing that can be seen are the entrances and exits and an access tunnel for skiers and hikers that is cut into the slope.
