IF33 Milas

In the Bay of Bodrum, a new LEITNER funicular called IF33 “Milas” delivers comfortable transport between the hotel complex of Six Senses Kaplankaya, and a neighboring villa resort which extends over a number of levels and 155 vertical meters. The cabin, which can carry 33 people, has a fully automated tilt mechanism which ensures that passengers can get in and out of a horizontal vehicle at every station. The system is designed like an elevator and carries its passengers at a speed of 4 m/s at the press of a button to each of the seven stations, which lie at different altitudes along the plateau. The funicular covers a distance of 605 meters and has a capacity of 253 passengers per hour in each direction.
